Hi guys
Just posted this pic to show you what I found on this 2006 penny....The RCM stamp is joined together...Nothing important, but I had never seen a flaw in the RCM stamp before.

I use this one ebay # 190588212714 I love it, it took a bit of playing around to get used to the settings but at 30 bucks from HongKong I can't complain. I also wall mounted it and made a lazy susan under it so I can quickly scan a large number of coins under magnifaction.

My rig. The lazy susan is made from a commercial size pizza sauce tin. The paint job helps me set the colour settings on the microscope.

@Dvereckis For 30 bucks, wow, not bad. What kind of field of view do you get with that? Up to 2" across (ie can you take a pic of an entire coin face?)

for the first pic the lens is about 5 inch away from the ruler which is about the maximum it can focus at.
2006-Penny---RCM-Stamp-Defect.
the second pic is in contact with the ruler. So tis is pretty much the max at both ends of it's ability.

The only issue I had wih mine was I couldent take still shots only video with it a first. I found the easiest solution was to use my print screen key them past it into paint.
