DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 02/04/2012 12:06 pm It appears to be a " Cud", where a chunk of the die broke off, and the coin flowed into the gap upon striking. You might also check out the date on the other side, because these 1/2 Dineros have a lot of dramatic overdates.
