To be honest I seldom track many things sent to me by UPS. But I have one of my largest shipment in years coming. So since I will be busy this week I thought I would see when the projected arrival date is. It should have been today or tomorrow but I'm not sure. Well it is not my lucky day. UPS Systems Experiencing Technical Difficulties Service Update Wednesday, February 15, 2012 UPS is currently experiencing technical difficulties and delays, including tracking packages and finding UPS Locations on ups.com. The ability to Create Shipments is still available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. We are treating this problem with the utmost urgency and our technical support teams are currently working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. I guess I will miss the arrival date and have to play tag with UPS.

Since the web site isn't working I'm guessing you already tried calling UPS?

Maybe just my luck I did call twice and they were busy. No worth calling again and besides in the old days there was no tracking so it is all cool. I just found it funny since this is one of the few times I tired it.

I understand your concern about your package. I had a package check into Pittsburgh and from there it was lost for 5 days with out a scan. It was lost in the main hub here. Granted it wasn't anything much but the post6 office kept giving me the run around.

They had a computer problem I heard on the news. Was not supposed to interfere with delivery. Any luck in receiving the package

I missed them but that is ok. I wasn't sure when they were coming if I knew it was today I could have made different plans. So hopefully as per the card they will be back tomorrow. They did get the site up by I wasn't able to check until around mid day and by then it was to late to change plans, I was thinking maybe ti would be Friday but I was wrong.

Hope you get your loot tomorrow! What did you order? Just curious. I haven't ordered anything in a while and I need the last 5 oz and 2012 silver proof quarters

@mkfarm, I hope they show up for you! I often find myself at the mercy of USPS and their "signature confirmations". My carrier does not seem to have the ability to leave the slip in my PO box, so I use the website tracking to know when I must physically pick it up.

Its not the carrier that requires the signature it is the shipper and I think rightly so when large amounts are involved. A pain when you miss them nut necessary

If you don't live too far from your local UPS distribution center they sometimes will let you pickup your package there at the service counter later that evening after their trucks have returned from the day's route. I've done this a couple of times when my work schedule gets crazy. Hope you get your package soon!

I have the same problem with shipments and signatures sometimes. I have tried ordering on different days of the week to see if that results in a specific shipping day but it doesn't seem to do that. Must be other factors involved because the shipment arrival days are all over the map, no matter what day the order was placed.
