I occurred to me this morning that the silver price has actually caught up with the purchase price of some of my Crowns. Does this now relegate them to the Bullion draw.. I have not seen the same percentage gains in sale prices..
Still way to pretty to be just bullion but if Silver keeps climbing then I can see my collection being able to expand for not much more than melt.
You'll probably be in for a pleasant surprise if you put them up for auction. I'm sure all of these would sell for at least $55-60+ w/out even checking ebay. Like others have have said, though, why part with them for double that if you don't have to do so? They're small works of art, which is the reason I started collecting coins such as these in the first place.
