Okay, I would consider myself quite the amateur coin collector, so I don't know much on what things are worth. And seeing as most errored coins aren't in books I don't have a clue on what is common or uncommon. If you guys could would you please advise me on this dime I have? Is it errored? Is it uncommon? Note the 1 in 71 is very faint or almost gone.

Also, what do you guys think o mys shots? Do they show enough detail? Are they clear? Was the red binder backdrop okay?

The date looks like a filled die strike,, this is where part of the design detail becomes clogged with grease ,metal shavings and or other substances . however the rest of coin lettering shows some signs of being weakly struck as well,, so the date maybe a result of both circumstances filled and weakly struck.

They are pretty common and do not carry any added value in most cases.
