Hi everyone,

I was looking through some 60s pennies and ran across this 60-D. What do you think about the D? I can't find it in any of my books. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Moonshine

That's 1960D-1MM-001 (CONECA RPM#001). Unfortunately a cleaned EF coin of that die is worth about a buck. If uncirculated it would be a $15-$20 coin.

Thanks gang for the help on the 60D. Pennies are my hobby. I buy them in rolls and occasionally a bag of wheats. The value isn't really an issue with me, although a 55 double die or a 1909S-VDB, I surely wouldn't toss out. But I don't think that will ever happen.

I like the odd stuff, like an 87-G4 with a funny D. I'm used to coins that nobody else wants. Thats why I like this forum. I like the information and things someone else has found that I might have and don't understand what it is.

So please put up with my nothings because they are something to me.

Your like me MoonShine. I love the odd things and penny are usually my game too. Can't afford the high dollar itmes but love coins and the unusual stuff. I dig threw 10-20 rolls a week from the bank. Problem is, I have a hard time turning anything under 80 back in. Maybe someday they will list by hoard of valueless pennies on ebay 2035 for big bucks. haha
