Is it possible that one day the Coin Community starts a sub-forum for coin roll hunting?

there is a separate thread for each denomination that gets roll hunted, and each thread is very active.

There are seperate threads for each, but seeing as how CRHing is so popular it probably wouldn't hurt to have its own forum.

But they get to the top very easily and kind of block new posts.

Might not be a bad idea to sub forum and sticky those threads. They do tend to hop up often.

Yeah, I hope the moderators can see this thread.
other than that, No one would read all of the pages in those threads. Once I posted and I don't know if anyone even noticed my posts. Things get confused like that. I encourage people to start their own threads.

Petersun - I was thinking about starting my own CRH thread, for my finds. This is so that I can go back and see what I found, how I've been doing, post pictures, and whatever else.

NYBrian84 I like that idea a lot. I find the threads that go on and on are a bit off-putting. They seem to slow my computer -- as though the whole thing has to download -- which I don't think it does, but I am not sure.

I really think it is a good idea. Each person who makes one should put their login name in the title, so we know whose it is before we click on it. I know I would be more interested in people's finds because I can put a "face" to each of their finds, instead of trying to remember.

I think a sub forum would be a nice idea. I can say that it's a bit daunting to go back and try to read a portion of some of the existing threads. That said it is nice to just post a quick update in those threads without creating a new thread to say "I got skunked on the last box"

Well, let's see what the moderators would say... What is a CRH thread?

When he said "sub forum" I thought he wanted to talk about sammiches!

Quote: Is it possible that one day the Coin Community starts a sub-forum for coin roll hunting? I think there is enough activity to look into the possibility of having a separate section. This is completely at Dad's discretion though Quote: What is a CRH thread? Coin Roll Hunting Moved to Support section

If one were added then we'd have to start from scratch. It'd be a daunting task to try and move them all over. We would however move the more prominent ongoing threads over

I could be wrong, but I think most people would be happy with the major threads being moved (Ike/half/quarter/dime/nickel/penny roll hunting finds), and starting from scratch for anything else.
