1913-D Type 1 Buffalo Nickel? - Coin Community Forum

Jdot Valued Member United States 139 Posts	Posted 04/15/2012 9:50 pm Four days ago I pulled two dateless buffs from a box of nickels. One had a D mint mark and I threw it in a vinegar bath to see if a date would appear. I started to see a date today and didnt want to leave it in there any longer than I had to so I pulled it even though the date is still weak. I think I have a 1913d type 1! Unfortunately it is pretty worn so I would like everyones professional opinion. Sorry about the pics it is the best I could do. Report this Post to the Staff
