I have 225 kgs of silver ore that I want smelted for me, does anybody know who could do this for me cheapish, whose reliable and honest? What companies/individuals would do this for me? It has been assayed at 3% silver. It has been smelted once in early 1900's. Can someone help me?

The primary silver ore is galena, which is also the principal source of lead.
Because of this, and the amount involved, it should be included in a standard industrial refining process. I assume that your 225 kg sample is galena.

Contact one of the main mining companies, BHP Billoton for example. They operate the currently biggest silver mine in the World at Cannington, in Central Queensland. I do not know if they do their primary refining on site or not. If they do, and that is inconvenient to transport 225 kg of ore to and from Central Queensland, ask them if your sample can be refined closer to where you live.

At an assay of 3% silver, at $30 /oz, you have about $6,500 worth of silver.
You also have around 350 pounds of lead, at whatever THAT is worth per pound, plus whatever the value of zinc is.

Lead is poisonous. Unless you are properly set up, don't extract the lead yourself.
