I've seen numbers of ASEs with Machine Doubling over the years.
Do you believe that's what you have?

Im seeing some things that have me not knowing for sure which type of doubling is present on the coin,, the E and lips especially ,, the branches and leaves seem to also show two different chacteristics,, some of the leaves show notching the same as the E and lips while the branches and some of the lettering looks much more like Mechanical Doubling.

There are other areas that are much smaller that do not show well in pics of the quality I can produce,, but the main elements show fairly well in the two photo's.

Im just looking for more opinions ,, to level the playing field.

Agreed, the branches/leaves seem slightly off. The E sticks out like a sore thumb and it looks like some doubling on her nose (or else she's telling a lie) & above the eye.

Also, can't help but notice it looks like Lady Liberty has gone butch by growing a mustache

Is the doubling on the E isolated on the bottom of the E or on the whole letter? I'm leaning towards Mechanical Doubling.

We can all stare at this for days and coppercoins will look at it in 2 seconds and tell us what it is.

Hi Gary

Did you click on the pics ? I'm a little limited for how close I can get and keep the pics fairly clear .

I will try and get some others if they are needed.

Machine doubling. No extra thickness, no notching, and the doubling is flattened.
