I don't know the answer, but I fugure some of you folks that frequest this forum can help out JJ. Here is his post from the TPG thread.

quote:
Hi all,

Most of the TPGs mentioned here seem to locate somewhere in the US. But, let's say that I'd like to grade some 18th Century European coin(s) and taking into account, that I do live in Europe, what would be your recommended grading service this side of the Atlantic?

Are there reliable services with good and consistent reputation somewhere here?

All I know is Auktionshaus H.D.Rauch, where I got some help in identifying one 17th Century Coin, but I dunno if they offer any slabbing services...

Hopefully the moderators don't yell at me for doing this....

Hi,

till now I haven't heard of any grading company in Europe - and I hope this will not be changing.

Most collectors I know here (they come mostly from Luxembourg and Germany) refuse to buy slabbed coins.
