just as I predicted.

I watch the error auctions everyday.

It is much harder to find what I'm looking for Now that every other auction, sometimes ten in a row, some with a lot of ten, ALL ARE for Prez Dollars with smooooooth edges.

So in other words, this is a VERY COMMON ERROR that will be very easy to obtain at a much lower price say 10 to 20 bucks if that.

Those that bought for 600 bucks .... man that kinda money could bought you a really nice error or two.

error

don't buy the hype

I still think it was a big mistake putting the lettering on the sides.

Seems that a former employee at the Philly Mint thought so too.

I'm sure most of them are real, the Mint has admitted it, however there are people selling them by the roll now so they're pretty common.

How does one sell a roll of errors if the roll has not been opened?

Was it Errorcoins that immediately said it's to early to be paying that much for an error that may be common?

No one said they weren't opened. I saw a few of them the other day, rolls of 25.

I have about 10 rolls from a bank in ma, in the northeast, and I don't want to open them.I heard that most of the blank edged coins came from fla or the southeast--has anyone heard of them comming from other areas ?
