lorakete New Member Australia 6 Posts	Posted 08/26/2012 01:18 am I have a 1874 Gold half Sovereign, with an Indian mintmark, however my searching has found no half sovereigns minted at that date in India. lorakete New Member Australia 6 Posts	Posted 08/27/2012 07:22 am Yes it directly below the shield, in the same place as you would have 's' if minted in sydney, or 'M' if it was minted in Melbourne.... it has totally confused me....so where do you think this coin might be minted?
