I have tried this medal on British Coin site on "Coin Commu
nity" No response, maybe because it is Not a coin but a medal or exonumia. It appears silver, 40 mm , plain edge.
If you recognize, please advise.

I don't believe it's Canadian.Here's one in gold with the same legend as on Imasnore's.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I find these items usually sell for bullion value regardless of date or country. Hanging on to the item for another 48 years does not appear to increase the items value. It will be listed as "Canadian" as there has been one sold on ebay for $31.00. Thank You for looking into this medal.
