The coins that looks "crafted" from the bullions - Koala and Kookaburra, but this is IMO. And Britannia, ASE, SML - those are really proudly represents the country. BTW, did you see 2013 Britannia? I really want a Britannia (might put in an order to an online bullion store) where you can find them for cheaper than ebay. I focused a lot on getting some Engelhard and JM bars (have a couple half oz bars and 2 half oz takus) sold a lot of silver to pay off school and other bills but I'm going to be back on track for buying in a few weeks! I am buying them for collection to be stored / displayed, mostly from via ebay, from the trusted sellers, who will handle the coin as "collectible" and not just bullion. So other people here have more knowledge and experience. But what I can suggest: The Kangaroo and Kiwi coins demand a high premium and they aren't cheap, but they are beautiful too and their mintage much lower then for other coins. Here the ebay auction for them, these are BU coins on card (the Proof will cost you minimum $30 more), and the price isn't bad compared to other auctions. It has a very limited mintage of 2500 coins worldwide, this is proof coin with "ancient finish. So this is NCLT. The coin looks very nice in hand, the Hedgehog very detailed, but it doesn't worth $500, only in case if you will decide to buy it instead of other 10 bullion coins. It's price caused by the fact, that the first coin in this series - 2007 Gulo Gulo won the 2010 Coin Of The Year award, and if I not mistaken, it listed now for $2.000 and more. The second coin - "Ural Owl" also expensive. Search in APMEX website, and take a look at the coins, you will have more or less idea of what you want and what you can afford at the moment.
