I hope I didn't get ripped off on this. I wish I knew of this message board before deciding to buy currency from ebay.
I spent about $93 for this $50 dollar bill with an non inked stripe going up the bill. Is this a common error and did I get ripped off? Or was it worth what I paid for it?

Not that familiar with note errors or prices but that blue stamp to the right of the face might diminish the value. Nice find either way. I hope it's worth more then ya paid.

ITs called a gutter fold. The price really depends on how big the stripe is.

This is most of the description from the seller about this bill:
The bill was folded when it went through the printer and therefore it left a strip running from the top of the bill to the bottom with no printing on it. The strip is on the right side of Grant's portrait.

The bill is uncirculated. I personally got it from a federal reserve shipment at the bank that I work at. The bill does have a bit of wear on the edges from being in the bank vault, and it has slight markings on the portrait that resulted from a teller stamp. There are no other markings on the bill.
