I have been halfheartedly looking around for coin collecting software that would do:

A. list coin and condition and variety
B. allows for Obverse and Reverse PICs
C. Can have a monthly/quarterly Value/Price update

Does anyone have any suggestions?

numista.com ,
you would have to enter values in the 'notes' section yourself, but everything else - and more - is there.

I agree with Dave H, I've got the older version, CoinPlus 2000 and absolutely love it.

Most are OK for use when the collection is small. Even Excel is rather difficult when you have virtually thousands of coins of a large variety. Imagine trying to change the values of all coins with thousands and thousands of them.
For example I have approximately over 3,000 Mercury dimes. Those alone would take a long, long time listing and changing values of those. I think if I started today making a complete list, I'd still be working on it for the rest of my life.

@Tbone - I bought my CoinPlus! 2000 software off ebay in 2001. I looked on ebay last night and didn't see any listings for the newer version.

I recommend CoinManage from Liberty Street Software , very helpfully and you can manage different aspects of the database like pictures, info , etc...

Edited : they have a 30 days trail ...
