At last check, there are over 53 listings for John Adams dollar error coins on ebay and growing every hour.
I'm thinking of putting my Washington dollar there and saying it was SUPPOSED to be an Adams: a HUGE error, right? I'm sure I could get a few offers...
Any thoughts people?

Here are two Struck Through Grease that I found. The impacted areas are on and just adjacent to the collar on the left side of the coin. Not great photos, but the best I'm capable of, scanwise.

I just checked the 52 completed listings of John Adams dollar error coins & the 68 currently posted listings on ebay.

There are the same various errors that were seen on the Washinton dollar coins: Starburst ( Struck Through Grease), filled Die Cud S in STATES, various die cracks, dropped letters, etc. The most expensive errors , so far, have been the "double edge lettering."

BUT, very interestingly, there have been no reports, as yet, of the "smooth edge missing lettering" seen on the Washingtons. Even though the estimates on the "smooth edge" on the Washingtons were between 40,000-80,000, if none show up on the Adams, maybe they are more rare than we think?

Look at this one, the two sets of lettering are opposite. So it went throught the edger, then went through again flipped over.

Yeah, looks like he did it by accident and tried to explain it since he can't fix it.
