As some of you may recall, I had a little setback with my satellite receiver a few months back, and had to limit my collecting to the lesser denomination coins. I recently completed my Jefferson nickels which I discussed in another post, and today I got the last Roosevelt dime I needed to complete that set as well. Got all 131 of 'em - no varieties though. Sure do get a good feeling when you put that last coin in an album. Ralph

Good for you Ralph!! Not too long ago I also completed the Roosevelt dime collection, also without varieties. Did you happen to get the 1996 W? I have one, but my Dansco Album doesn't have a space for it.

No Gary - I don't have a 1996W. I, too, have mine in a Dansco Album (7125). I kind of use the album as a guide - if it has a date and a mint mark for a coin, I try to find a coin to fill that hole. And I usually wait until I have at least a couple dozen of one type before buying the album for them. I guess the beauty of a circulated set of circulating coins is the possibility of finding another one just a little bit better than the one you have. Thanks to all who expressed their congratulations. And, yes Becky - filling that last hole is a rush.

Congrats, Ralph. However, this begets the question, what is next? Jim

Congratulations Ralph! This is something that not a lot of people can say about any series of coins that have existed for so many years. Now it's going to be 'wait and see' what happens to this collection, IF and WHEN they discontinue the series. This is also bound to happen, as they are already starting to talk about the possibility of a change. Again, nice going.

Jim - I just don't know. I've got several sets that are works-in-progress (as I'm sure everyone else does). I've been toying with the idea of working on my Washington quarters - got 'em from 1950 to date. I worked backwards on them - looking at starting on the 40s next, but nothing's set in concrete - something else may catch my fancy before I decide. Ralph
