Seems like most busts face left.

Is there any significance to right vs left? Can you narrow down the mint or otherwise glean information about the coin on this tidbit alone?

This varies enormously over time.
1st and 2nd century denarii are primarily right facing with left facing busts being much scarcer.
For Probus for example it changes from bust type to bust type. Radiate cuirassed busts are primarily right facing with left facing bust being less common but the degree of how less common varies from mint to mint whilst for imperial mantled busts they are usually left facing for Probus with the right facing busts being rare in comparison.
The question is interesting but the answer is complicated.

Thanks, Martin.

I was hoping it would provide a boost with identification but suspected it wasn't that simple.
