Slight scuffing of the patina on the King's beard. This should provide reason enough to make sure that this piece does not rub in storage. Some residual red left. Inner circle beads a bit light above the date, perhaps a slightly Grease Filled Die at this point. A few tiny and very old nicks in the fields, which have been partly hidden by patination. Obvious scuff behind King's shoulder. A few tiny dark spots. Hair, moustache and beard detail reasonably sharp, and not showing any signs of wear.
After all of that claptrap, I would HAVE to agree with "MS63 maybe"' Very nice Ha'penny!
Nice coin, nice Cud and nice detail! And thank you, I have never had the privilege of seeing how much detail there is in the obverse. Is there a couple of dots (one in front of the tash, and one in the middle of the field on that side) on the obverse? Would have to be extremely rare in the grade you have.
