Hi, I was recently looking to purchase now high-quality world gold coins when I came across Dustin Massie Rare Coins (http://www.dustinem.com). They seem like a legitimate business but before I purchase high-price coins from them, I would like to learn a bit more about them. Has anyone had dealings with them? I'm looking for some feedback and maybe links to auctions or excerpts that shows a good record.
I've met Dustin in the past, but never had any dealings with him. He seems like a pretty straight shooter, and has been in the business a long time, one doesn't stay around in the coin business if they are not ethical and good business people.
From my recollection he was offering a set of high end Barber Halfs at Long Beach early this year, prices were NOT cheap at all. He seems to deal in pretty high end coins. Can't give any personal endorsements but he does seem to be a good guy in the business.
Found a youtube interview from coinweek on him:
