I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this one. I never did get mine returned to see about fixing the dinged corners on the book, but oh well. Still happy to have a solid piece for the collection.

I'm really happy things worked out for you Dar. There's nothing is more frustrating to return a much awaited item.
Hey... wouldn't it have been ironic if the Mint replaced your set with the one that was returned into rotation (your old set). Just food for thought.

The set is sold out at around 15K sets total.
Not a very large number by any mean but I wish it was under 10K.
It's all jbuck's fault for promoting this set...... hehehehe

Will someone please post as SOON as they get a Roosie Chronicles set in hand, and tell us if any "goofs"(enhanced finish not mentioned)..or thoughts please. I saw 1 presale for 4 on ebay, at $83.99, with 1 sold...I always wonder about that..not the presale...the purchase from a reseller at above Mint Price..I guess, for whatever reason, some folks don't buy direct. I sold all but 4 of my Native American Coin & Currency sets(21 of em), at a decent profit...3 packs averaged $85.00...now, I see 2 packs are just as close...anyway, I'm HOPING for an enahanced ROOSIE, cause I bought 20 sets....just in case.... |

@mods - can we get the title of this thread clarified to reflect Theodore Roosevelt? I think with the FDR set coming up (and available for order) we could start mixing up threads.

I was updating my inventory tonight and it appears that I forgot to record the US Mint product code for this set (Theodore Roosevelt C&C Set). Anyone know it, by any chance?
