I would appreciate opinions as to whether or not this is a 1968-D 1MM-001. I don't get very many RPM's out here in the East (I think I have found less than 8 total) so I am not confident enough to be sure. Thanks for your help.

It looks good to me, It has the separate vertical bars and lower split serif (bottom left bumps of the "D" ) if you will.
I didn't go to http://www.coppercoins.com to look, any markers line up?

Thanks Collector-Corner, yes , the small die dot above the "8" that you can see in this pic and a die crack on the 12th column.

Looks like 001 on coppercoins. As you stated, the dot above the 8 matches. The mint mark placement looks good too. Nice one Sudz!
