I waited too long to edit my original posting, but I will post 2 new pictures of the obverse. I talked with the author of the variety in the catalog, and he agrees it is a triple 6. I was happy to finally find the listed variety, and happier that is NOT that exact variety. Thank you all for your thoughts. They point me in the right direction.

Almost looks like a small 9 or an upside down 6 under the 6 very interesting.
