I know the PAIN when without service! Swore I would never have a computer and now can't live without it. Still amazes me that I have friends world wide and they are just a mouse click away!

Why do you guys keep picking on us Hoosiers? It's not our fault that we live in a state where South Bend is not south, North Vernon is not north, and French Lick....well, that's probably not what you think it is either.

Been to them all but only Greensburg (Tree City)has a tree growing out of its court house tower! And, of course, everyone knows it gets it water from the spring in the clock? Actually they just trimmed the tree and another has sprouted!

All right, last one for me... Williamsport IN, Home of Indiana's highest waterfall! 90 spectacular feet of cascading, ah flowing, ah running, ah dribbling water. I've been there 10 times and a slow dribble is all I've seen. There's room for at least 4 cars(in case things get crowded after a very heavy rain) to park behind the "Firehouse" to see , well sometimes, well once or twice a year this wonder of nature!(watch out for the enormous bee hives!) They call it a "dry waterfall" around here! Strange play on word's eh? If your in the area, and its raining real hard, stop by! From the pictures I've seen it's very beautiful! Mike Oh well, Here's a picture in all it's glory! It really is pretty.

Nice waterfall. I've seen thousands of waterfalls and that sure is a pretty one. Can't say I'd ever make a trip there for it but nice all the same.

At first I thought you were kidding, because we got better looking trout ponds in our back 40 than that so called attraction. Just got to get you guys out here to the Rockies, if you promise not to stay. We would love to have you Indiana folks as guests.
Rest in Peace

Hey OldDan, my post was most certainly tongue in cheek! I have traveled west on vacation every other year for the last 30 years. My Aunt lives in in Arizona, My sister in Colorado, my sister in law California and I have cousins sprinkled all over Wyoming! I have camped in Yosmite Valley near some "real Falls" and seen falls like my picture every few miles driving west in late spring. But remember, we are at about 600 feet of elevation, no coatal ranges, a few hundred miles west of the nearest real "hills" so we get excited about these things! We do have one great asset that you folks do not and that is the Great Lakes! Most of the big lakes out west are man made! Have a good one! Mike

The Rockies are my favorite place in the world. If I could find work I would have stayed every time I was out there! Getting my wife to go, well that would be another story. Just hope to get more time in the mountains before my time comes to depart this world! Closest to heaven I have ever been and yes, I have touched the clouds!

I hope he's not moving to paradise. It promises to be real magical here until the end of November.

When do we send out a search party? Susan have you heard an update from National Dealer? I'm starting to get worried.

I've talked to him a couple of times. He can only call me when he's on the road since he doesn't get cell phone reception at his house. We're hoping by the end of this week that he'll be back with us. I hope so because he's getting royally p****d off at the cable and phone companies. I wouldn't want to be them if they don't do what they're supposed to....

Tell ND a phone call to the state consumer protection agency or the Public Service Commission is the biggest gun in the arsenal, at least it is, here in Indiana. They sure don't want you calling the Public Serivice Commission for anything! I found that out over 30 years ago and the threat still works today.

Perhaps it should also be pointed out that Decatur is the county
seat of Adams county and Adams is the county seat of Decatur county.
Apparently they were running out of names. Indianapolis is the center
of Indiana but if you visit you'll know why they call it Naptown and
465 the Nappass.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

I will have to correct you on that one! Greensburg is the county seat of Decatur county and Adams, which is my name, lives within two miles of the town of Adams. I always wanted to change the signs on the old highway out front directing folks to the town of Adams and just put them a little farther down the road, on each side of my house, with the arrows pointing here! Sounds like a plan to me!
