Thought this would be a fun challenge for all the hard core roll hunters out there:

Of the 8 mint marks that have ever appeared on US coins, it is theoretically possible to find 6 of them in circulation. Obviously everyone has P and D coins in their pocket change, and any roll hunter can produce an S coin or two on demand. Let's see if we can produce a circulated coin from each of the mints:

P (Philadelphia, PA... this one should be easy)
D (Denver, CO... again pretty easy)
S (San Francisco, CA... easy enough for nickels and cents)
W (West Point, NY - limited to '96-W dime)
O (New Orleans, LA - Dimes, Quarters, Halves, Dollars until 1909)
CC (Carson City, NV - Dimes, Quarters, Halves, Dollars 1878-1893)

And if that's not enough of a challenge:
D (Dahlonegha, GA - Gold coins 1838-1861)
C (Charlotte, NC - Gold coins 1838-1861)

And if somebody wants to win the internet:
M (Manila, Philippines - 1920-1941)

Rules of the challenge:
- All coins must be found in bank rolls or active circulation.
- All coins must be in your collection.
- No seeding your own coins into circulation

I'll start off with a few of my own:

P (1942-P War Nickel)

Circulating-Mint-Marks:-A-Challenge

D (1999-D half)

Circulating-Mint-Marks:-A-Challenge

S (1941-S type I & II nickels)

Circulating-Mint-Marks:-A-Challenge

Good luck everyone!

I have only found the P D and S. I think I found a W, but I threw it back into circulation.
