2 Indian/Arabic Copper Coins? - Coin Community Forum

vince1977 Pillar of the Community Netherlands 847 Posts	Posted 03/16/2014 08:21 am Hello Forum members, Ive got a lot rare coins. I can't identify. I have looked for arabic/indian coins. But there are so many, I don't have an clue for these. Or which direction I have to search? THey could be 500-2000 years old if you ask me haha. I think these 2 coins. Are from the same region. Because of the standing person/god. THey both have on one side. One of the coins is really small. I think it is one of the smallest coins I've evver seen in my life. Diameter of the smallest coin with the pentagram? on the other side is: 8,5 MM and it weights : 0,47 grams The other coin has an diameter of 17mm and it weights 6,8 grams. Big differences though. Just looking through the pages and I think I found the first coin. Looks like KM#29 NAYAKA CASH . OBV: Deities, geometric figures, etc. REV: Crude Wala Jah, withouth date Mint: Madurai. Note: Struck at Ramnad Mint. 1751-1795 . If someone could confirm this would be great :) Report this Post to the Staff
