Anyone else feel like this coins was cast already with the countermark, rather than a punch on a struck coin?

Good probability it was, I would expect some deformation on the reverse from being punched afterwards.

I would not give you $0.75 for that coin but would probably buy you a drink - only if you told me you paid into three figures for it - I am a gentleman <BG>.

If you were doing a cast, wouldn't you make sure to build in the reverse side protrusion? It's like they only worked it into the observe, not the reverse.

Cast Yes

what I find strange is if you're willing to spend that kind of money
on a coin wouldn't you know what you're collecting.

Also how come these sellers who sell fakes always have 100% feedback

There must be alot of collectors out there who know nothing about what they collect.

yours
