Looks to be VF, there are quite a few folds.

Yeah, that's what I suggested to the seller when I made my offer that the note is VF to EF - I still think it was a deal at $185 shipped

Thanks, the $100 note is scheduled for delivery Friday will post more pics once it's here. I see that finding an inexpensive Devil's Face $5.00 note is going to be a challenge, so I jumped on this for $35.

The note itself appears to be intact and in fairly good shape with a few folds and creases in the corners, I'm curious to see what that dirt or staining is. I'll probably give it a shot of steam then stick it in a dictionary for a month or 2

That wasn't a bad buy. A bonus, is that it's a changeover note.

Book value in Fine, is $55.
