Wow it definetly could have been a contender at 180 degree, what a shame yet alls not lost its in your hands now so the coin abuse will stop :-)

For me, I'd probably never find these 180-outs. I typically am in a searching the coin for RPM, DDO, DDR, Planchet issue.....done. I'd have to slow down quite a bit to master the eye it would take to notice these right off the bat. I will try to slow down a tad and occasionally spot check a few of the Lincolns I end looking over. Good find ! |

This is rated as an R5, with 13-30 specimens from 1994-P believed to exist with rotations between 90 and 180 degrees. cool find.

Nice find.
Too bad for the corrosion.
If I was retired and could roll hunt 12 hours a day I'm sure I would have found a lot more oddities than I have in the 2 hours a day 3 days a week I have to look between working a real job and dumping.

I always turn the coins the same way when I do searching. Being consistent with this is that if a 45 degree and above turn would be recognized by me. Less than 45 degrees I don't I don't pay attention to.

When sorting rolls on Friday I always turn the coin over before throwing it into the reject box. That is how I found this one except it was on Tuesday at work while going through some "extra" rolls.
