I'll of course add my own humble opinion on grade and value. The value I am assigning in dollars are ones that I would like your opinion on as well as I am contemplating current market conditions. Thanks for looking and offering any thoughts 1814 - Large Date F-12/VG08 - Great obverse, weakly struck reverse as is seen with this issue $75 1820 Large "0" F15/F12 original with some reverse nicks. $95 1821 Large Date VG08 As honest a VG coin as you can hope to find. No harsh scrubbed appearance like you see all over the web. Weak strike perhaps on S2 & S3? $50 1825 VG10. Honest, original and another hard to locate raw with the skin left so intact. I nearly threw up when I saw all those scrubbed ones on ebay at the prices they are asking $65 1828 JR-1 Small Date VF25 This is a rare coin. Honestly a VF25 with arguments towards 30. Certainly water and ragged cleaned a long, long time ago but equally as original and really nice album or old envelope toning if not just lying in the corner of an old wooden desk for a long time. $200 Report this Post to the Staff

GERMANICVS Pillar of the Community Germany 1849 Posts	Posted 08/29/2014 07:02 am A nice group of coins in one of my favorite series. The 1828 JR-1 I would grade as VF20/VF25. This date is highly sought by collectors, specially the JR-2 (Large date, curl base 2). I believe your suggested value of $ 200 is about right. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm amazed at how hard is to locate nice original surfaces when you get into lower, more affordable grades on this series in raw condition. Not that all of mine are ideal but compared to the bright scrubbed dipped cleaned examples that plague the internet, I have some real winners. Report this Post to the Staff
