Opinions are welcome on this 1913 Lincoln. I'm trying to decide if it's worth sending it in for grading. I'm not sure if it would get a Red/Brown or Brown designation.

My guess is 65 brown, but I am not too experienced with early Lincolns. I know graders really like lustour, especially after ms65, and I am not seeing amazing lustour here. However it is pretty much mark free. I would not grade it, but thats because I would be happy with it in my dansco if it was mine.

I could see it getting RB. The issue is, it still may eventually turn into a Brown inside of the holder.

TPG "guaranties" indemnifies them from changes in the color designation post-slabbing.

The luster on the coin is very nice; full cartwheel luster. I don't know how much the toning would affect grading.

My guess would be a BN designation. Regardless, a very nice early Lincoln in a fragile state of toning.

If it was mine, I would send it in and I'm sure you'll get at least a MS-64RB from it..
Lovely coin.
