67 Bill Off Centre - Coin Community Forum

I've seen 1967 $1s in UNC condition going for less than five dollar each. Last coin show, someone brought in a big stack of these $1 1967 bills to a dealer. Must be more than 100 of them and most in good shape but the dealer did not buy a single one of them. The dealer went through them looking for * bills and unusual numbers but did not find any. scopru Pillar of the Community United States 5029 Posts	Posted 11/03/2014 09:33 am With off center notes you really want it to be a lot off...As in part of the design missing it is so far off. Still a cool note though... I have several us off centers (similar amount off as yours) and they aren't worth much over face. Report this Post to the Staff

The '67 are pretty common in UNC condition alone.. and the offset printing/cutting of this note actually is detracting.. You either want a note thats completely centred or you want it off centre enough that you see printing from the neighbouring note.. This makes for a great conversational piece yes... but don't plan your retirement off of this note... Report this Post to the Staff
