The 28 days of exonumia, February

In the style of other "days of" threads let us start one for us.
February: The month of Exonumia!


1st- Municipal trade token or commemorative medal from your town of birth

2nd- Fraternities (Masons, Elks, KKK etc)

3rd- pre-confederation Americas commerce tokens

4th- Magician's prop/trick coins

5th- Jeton tokens

6th- Something with a date on it that matches your birth year

7th- Elongated penny

8th- Something made with a majority of silver

9th- Play money

10th- Something you picked up on vacation

11th- Telephone both token

12th- I owe my soul to the COMPANY STORE

13th- Copper rounds

14th- Love tokens for St. Valentine's day

15th- Coin made into watch fob/ ring/ necklaces; etc.

16th- American Civil War

17th- Canada's 1967 centennial

18th- Wood, bakelite, leather of any other off material token/medal

19th- Casino chips

20th- Bridge token

21st- Political memorabilia

22nd- Berlin wall commemorative medallion

23rd- Temple token

24th- Exonumia from Ceylon

25th- Olympic memorabilia

26th- Something that has been in outer space

27th- Emu War of 1932

28th- Post anything special to you and give us the story behind it

I've been rushing to get these on as connection to this forum has been very sketchy recently.

The Bengal jewel is the badge of the Past Grand Standard Bearer for the District Grand Lodge of Bengal.

The right hand flag is the Royal Standard but differenced with an escutcheon and label which show it to be the personal standard of Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1850-1942), as used by him from 1907-17. The Duke of Connaught was Grand Master of the Masons from 1907-1939.

His masonic fob is also pictured above.
