I subscribe to a handful of Youtube channels, and among those is one that is called "The Slow Mo Guys". On January 29th, they posted a new video that I thought was great to show what's happening inside our cameras when we take images.

The link below is very interesting, and reminds us why for coin photos we lock up the mirror and use the Electronic First Shutter Curtain to avoid the movement of the mirror slap, and the movement of the first shutter moving across the sensor.
