This is my 1909 vdb,no theres no S on obv. I was noticing that theres not a period after the B saw other vdb's with with all periods. whats going on here,is it some kind of error? Is this common? thanks  Edited by blcoinnut 10/04/2007 6:52 pm

I'll look at mine when I get home. But I'm almost positive there's supposed to be a period.

Was it as hard for you to find an example without "blah" features, like dark uneven toning, that woodgrain effect or spots?

The periods on these are shallow and frequently filled.
