Would this be an EF-40?It has a few marks on the neck and a couple below UNITED.Some light wear on the upper curl of hair, the curl over the ear,the ribbon and lower curl of hair.A couple of the beads in her necklace show very slight wear as well.
The reverse shows a few dings on both of the E's,but otherwise looks free of damage. At least from what I see.
How far off am I?

I'll call it EF-40 but unfortunately it appears to have been cleaned

EF-40. The shininess and orange color may suggest cleaning. Should be brown?

Here is a couple more pictures. If it has been cleaned that's OK.I bought it for the strike and as an example piece.
All of Dad's IHC's are pretty worn, and I wanted something a little better to look at and compare to others.

Is there enough disparity of "wear" between obverse and reverse to consider die state when grading this one? The reverse is well-struck and shows very little wear. How did the obverse wear faster?
