Merely MD Again?

I found a parcel of Peace dollars hidden away in a file cabinet back in the 1970s by a fellow who ran a vending machine business. A number of the 1922s have a distinctive die break as this coin shows running East-West on the obverse, but this one has spectacular doubling at the date, especially the final "2" digit. Now I know most would tell me this is nothing, just "Machine Doubling." The under outline is supposed to lay flat and shelf-like in look, and not show a rounded, double-die, home run appearance. Normally I go with the flow, but this coin's over date is really naked eye catching. Might it be awarded a special VAM in consolation?
