Susanlynn9 Forum Mom United States 5877 Posts	Posted 08/22/2005 9:30 pm I see 2 shallow scratches in the obverse right field and a hit on her skirt, also some chatter by the "L". The reverse looks good with only a very shallow mark by the eagle's head. I think this could be a toss-up. It will depend on the graders' moods at the time. Report this Post to the Staff

I dont think it was the small hits that kept it from being graded higher, but the weak obverse would be my guess. Save the money on resubmission and enjoy the coin for what it is !!! Stujoe Valued Member United States 421 Posts	Posted 08/28/2005 10:00 am I would also agree and I might add that there is a bit of a price bump between 64 and 65 so I don't think you would get it in a 65 holder easily. I am no expert but I have heard plenty of times that the price difference between the grades can have an effect on the odds of whether a coin might or might not holder at the next grade if it is close. But, take my opinion for what it is worth which happens to be exactly what you paid for it. ;) Edited to add: Nice coin, BTW! I'd be happy with it at whatever the plastics says!
