Well, I just picked my BD present with the wife's Okay, LOL. An 1826 Capped Busty, O-105 (R3). Not bad for a VF-30/35ish example which was less than $100 and it was needed for the old BCBHD Collection. Now the long wait for the postal delivery, at leat 10 days normally... Please share your thoughts.

112 Varieties, 122 Coins in the BCBHD Collection ;-)

Many Thanks for taking a look
Ben

Ben...great details, great "crust." Very nice coin. Only one question...what's with that "square" on the obverse that covers the forehead to the chest? Is this just a lighting issue, do you suppose? You have great taste in coins!

Hunter, it appears to have been tape or something else which was on the coin for a LONG period of time, long enough for some pattern toning to occur before the album toning arond the edges. One of the reasons (no doubt) it was only $95. No mater, as it's Blue Collar Bust Half Dollar (BCBHD) material to me. LOL...

Very nice, the like the look to her! For $95, I would have snapped her up too. Happy birthday!
