Cool 1827. This coin is die variety N-7 which has a rarity designation as R.3 (somewhat rare). The grade is between F-12 and VG-10. I don't know if the stuff on the reverse of the coin is crud or corrosion but it affects the grade. I would net grade this coin at G-6. Now, if a soak in acetone helps the reverse I'd be willing to go higher. 1827 N-7 R.3 10/6.
