Hi all, just found my first 2015 coin (Homestead ATB .25), and to my amazement it looks to be a doubled die. I looked on doubleddie.com and didn't see a match. Has anyone seen one like this before? Should I submit it to Wexler?

It maybe. Is there any damage in that area? If you could take an image rotate 90 degrees (Then rotate it back to horizontal) and that might show us more what is going on. (The glare is a bit intense.)

No damage. I had to leave for work, will post more pics tonight when I get home. It is very similar to WDDR-5, but not quite as strong.

I would wait before you submit it. Get the best images possible first, then John can make that determination if to submit it.

That thing is a water pump handle and it looks like ddr-005 but it doesn't go all the way across and it doesn't have the doubling in the upper left of same window . So it prob us a new in there are a lot of new ones I've seen lately I'm hoping my ddr-004 remains the best

I would say that is a new one. I've already seen most of the other pump handle DDR's but haven't seen this one yet. Probably worth the submission to Wexler or Brian Ribar.

doesn't really fit the shape of the pump though. Are you sure it is not a die chip?

I am fairly confident in my ability to distinguish a die chip after nearly 20 years of collecting and studying coins with my library of well over 50 books on varieties, errors, and the minting process, along with the vast wealth of info to be gleened from the internet.

I have pointed out what I believe to be additional doubling of the top and bottom of the handle, besides the obvious doubling of the top of the handle in the window.
