You didn't overpay for anything. A seminar offering all you learned on that one day - especially at the early copper guy's table - would have cost you $500. And you got a free 200-year-old Large Cent for it.

I like your large cent. It looks AG IMHO. I like the original surfaces.

I agree S-259. The reverse is without a doubt 258 or 259 and the spacing of the date matches 259 better than 258.

I've looked at some pictures, and Its no doubt a "ghost 3" large cent. I see this because of the middle point in the "3," which looks short.
I'm not gonna argue with R-4
