cwb Pillar of the Community United States 3463 Posts	Posted 08/08/2015 9:28 pm I agree, it looks like the post has broken off of the die on the mint mark. There are several photos of similar die chips on this page: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/cuds.html That coin also looks well worn and cleaned. Cleaning like that will take away collector value pretty fast. If you find a coin that you suspect is rare or valuable, don't clean it with anything. Report this Post to the Staff
