Hello I recently seen a ebay picture of a 1964 Cap Die Roosevelt dime selling at a nice price. I have a coin that resembles the same error in fact they could be twins. The number 4 is not too readable. I'm wondering what is the price for a 1964 Cap Die Roosevelt dime and what does the error looks like I'm searching for it I guess the seller sold it and no pictures or feedback are provided on the Internet can't find no feedback regarding this type of error. Thank you

Hrm... Doesn't look like a die cap, looks like struck through die cap. I think. I havent really studied this error yet... Just wait for an hour or so for some of the more experienced members to post.

A die cap is the actuall coin stuck to the die. A struck through die cap error is a coin that has been struck through the die cap. That was poorly explained... I'm not sure what they sell at, and unfortunetly my RedBook doesn't have any info on die cap errors...

Technically its a die cap error of sorts. But then again, technically it isn't... There are different types of struck through errors, such as grease, derbies, other coins, and die caps.
