What would a fair price be for a complete set of BU/Proof/Mint Franklin & Kennedy halves? All 3 price ranges please
Also for the Eisenhower dollars?

Thanks in advance...Lucky

I dont know on franklins.

Ike they are 125 to 299 on 32 coin bu and proof books.
1964 thru 2007 half book. They are from 700 to 1500 I seen them ask for them. The expensive sets have 1998 matte proof in there.

You can check ebay completed sales on sets of those coins to find market value .

You may build those cheaper than just buying them. If I going build the ike set. I would buy the 1973 thru 1978 mints , proof sets and build it. Save the stuff lefht over to build half book. If you want same time on half set build the quarter, susan dollar at same.

At the price they want for proofs to build 64 thru 2007 half set. I would buy the intire proof set run from 1964 thru 2007 for around 700 bucks. Take apart proof sets. At same build all book like quarters , nickels, pennys. dollar books . Buy an mint run from 1965 thru 2007 for around 499. Build each book and sell the books you dont want to help pay the half dollar set. Thats how dealers build those sets for resale. Its not big deal to take apart intire run proof sets.

You can maybe sell 65 thru 07 penny proof run 150, nickel run 125, 125 dime run, 00 thru 07 dollar run 150, susan dollar run 30 bucks 79 thru 81 without type 2 proofs. 65 thru 2007 quarter run 399. Thats if take apart the proof set and keep proof halfs for set.

Here are two websites with proof Franklin quotes...just to give an idea of what each cites as value.

http://www.pcgs.com/prices/frame.ch...kennedy_half

I find PCGS to have inordinately high quotes.

Those sets sell on e-bay all the time. Just do a search of the completed auctions. I'm not saying you should buy from e-bay, but it'll give you a range of prices. In addition, read the descriptions. Sometimes they'll mention something about a set you hadn't thought about.
