This time I actually know what I have but I am curious what the cuts all around the Georgius side are from? It looks like someone took a saw to it? I'm going to assume it's not supposed to look like this.

you are correct, it should not look like that. This is a common and inexpensive coin that someone either amused themself with or used or tried to use to replace a missing or broken part of something.

If I were to venture a guess I would say someone filled an idle hour with a hammer and screwdriver.
This coins are so common I have one I paid fifty cents for that I carry in my purse. If I am asked if I have a penny I dig it out. Always brings interest.
