Which Coins Are Rare? - Coin Community Forum

gmtech New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 01/13/2008 2:42 pm I currently am putting together a type set and would like to include some rare coins in this collection. Is there a publication which ranks coins in the order of rarity? Do I have to judge for myself based on population and number certified? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks! Even online values will be informative. I have a "Coin Prices" magazine for Jan. 2003 that has all the mintages and prices for every denomination minted up until then. At $3 it has been very useful.
