A good read for newbs to the series and as a "where we were in 2010" read for the experianced. So, for a little more than the price of a Presidential C&C set (with one ounce of silver) you got one 40% Eisenhower dollar (less than one-third ounce of silver). Interesting to consider. I remember really, really wanting to buy the 40% Eisenhower dollars in my early collecting days (1980's). You know, when the 1973-S 40% proof was well north of $100. I am glad I could not afford them then. Patience paid off as they were pretty darn cheap by the time I had a real job in the 1990's.
